Would you like some wind with those cupcakes?

Lincoln turned two years old on April 30th! But since BJ and the girls, and baby Ammon were going to be gone before he had his birthday we had an early birthday party for Lincoln the Saturday before they left on Apirl the 18th. Also it was the Saturday before we had Mae Lee.

Unfortunately, it ended up being a windy Saturday afternoon.Lincoln loves Spiderman! We went and got a ton of spiderman decor but it was so windy that we were only able to use 1/4 of the decorations. And even then everything you see is taped down. We hurried and took this picture before it all started to blow away.

The kids didn't mind too much at first. In the beginning they all got a bubble wand and had a ton of fun with the bubbles.

Tysho and Sophie havin' fun with the bubble wands.

Sariah letting the wind go ahead and do the work for her.

Uncle Colby always there to help.

Sadie-kins doin' a fabulous job of creating the bubbles!

Baby Ammon will have his chance another day...Until then mommy has him as snug as a bug in a rug! Awwwhhh. So cute!

The birthday boy now has it down by himself!

After the bubbles had run out we tried to have our picnic in the sun, but the wind decided to make our little spidey party another story....Rocky made some awesome shish-kabob with beef and shrimp along with Lincolns most favorite food, rice! Tysho of course makes his main dish the Red Vines licorice.

We tried to eat but all we got was...

WIND....WIND...WIND...

WIND....WIND...WIND...

Nothing but ...WIND!!!

After we all finally decided that mother-nature had won the battle we packed up the festivities and went on to have the cupcakes at Colby's bachelor pad!

We had also planned on playing beach baseball with spiderman inflatables but it was canceled due to the wind taking everything in sight!

Uncle Wyatt has come to join the party and yet he missed the real action earlier! Sophie wasn't able to get a bite in at the park so she can't wait for the rest of us to sing happy birthday to Lincoln first. She's already diggin in! Can you blame her?

Blowing out the candles is serious business!

Happy early Birthday Lincoln!

This was actually a bitter-sweet day. We had fun together as always, but it was the last time for a while that Dallas and BJ's kids and Rocky and I's kids will be together since they moved to Kentucky.

Until we are together again...love and hugs from us always!

Rocky and I will also miss our nieces and sweet little nephew dearly. Every time we would see them Sadie gave us a drawing of a beautiful picture( she's an artist for sure!), Sophie gave us tons of hugs and flowers, and Sariah always was full of quiet mischief, sweet kisses and hugs. Ammon of course is just plain adorable and brings us nothing but joy. We love you and miss you.
