Easter Egg Hunt 2009

Happy Easter! On Saturday April 11th we had a wonderful Easter party with our family, Wyatt, Alma, Colby, BJ and her girls along with baby Ammon, and also Aunt Jeanne and her son Brett, his girlfriend Atalie, and his son Jayden.

Here is the awesome bunch of kids we love to death: Tysho, Lincoln and some of their favorite cousins Sadie, Sophie, Sariah, and "baby Ammon" (this is how Lincoln refers him when he talks about his little buddy Ammon). We are all sad because this will be one of the last times for a while we will get to do holidays with our "regular" group of peeps since BJ and her adorable kids will be joining Dallas in Kentucky to live for the next couple of months until his training is done and then off to Hawaii for them!

We are going to miss you guys tons!!

One of the best parts of the day according to the kids was the Easter egg hunt. The first trial didn't pan out too well as we soon learned we needed to give the little kids a shot at hunting for eggs first and then letting the older ones go.

Here is Lincoln patiently waiting for his dad and uncles to hide the eggs!

Lincoln is showing Sariah the contents of the eggs. Neither of them cared too much about the money inside just the candy! Chocolate is the only way to go!

Sadie is in no hurry. She's confident in her strategy of conquering and destroying the competition. After all who better to teach her the tricks than her proud big papa D (or Dallas for you lay people)

Sadie hit the jackpot! Wyatt's helping Sophie count her winnings and Colby is helping Lincoln open some more candy.
