April 30th, 2011
Our sweet baby boy Lincoln turns four years old.
He counted down on the calender and invited everyone he talked to to come to his Spiderman birthday!
Of course, whenever I ask Lincoln what kind of birthday cake he wants it's always Spiderman.
His sister had her birthday a week before his and he had to be extra patient for his big day.
These two boys may be complete opposites in ever way, but they are inseparable.
While his younger sister, MaeLee is the biggest handful, Lincoln is always tender and loving to her.
We ordered five foot long sandwiches from Subway for lunch.
Of course Lincoln's favorite is always rice, but that will have to wait until dinner.
Lincoln was set on going to Bashas the Monday before his birthday and ordering that
Spiderman birthday cake he always sees in their catalog.
We did just that and he talked about it all week long.
He ordered chocolate with strawberries in the middle.
I have no idea how he does it but for some reason Lincoln is always found with a blue mouth.
Here he has it from the frosting, other times it's from a sucker or some kind of candy.
He always loves the blue flavor and I am stuck with a bunch of pictures of Lincoln with a blue mouth!
But of course it's Spiderman!
Lincoln also got a spiderman flyer, and Avatar the action figure from Mom and Dad. We are running out of options to buy as far as Spiderman goes. Lincoln owns just about everything possible of the Spiderman collection. I also ordered him some Spiderman t-shirts but they were too small. Lincoln was disappointed that he couldn't wear his Spidey t-shirt for his birthday, but he was a good sport any how.
He also got a ZuZu pet from Nellie and Jamie.
A race jump with cars from Grandma, which they will play with for hours making those cars jump over different things.
A Chicago Bears Football helmet and Jersey from Uncle Dallas, and Aunt BJ.
Uncle Dallas and Lincoln are both Bears fans!
And last but not least! The grand finale present...
A couple weeks before his birthday Lincoln came up to me and said, "Mom can I get a job?"
Quite surprised I asked him, "Why do you want a job honey?"
His reply, "So I can buy a trampoline, and a swing set."
"Oh my sweet baby, why don't you see what mom and dad can do first okay?"
"Okay, but I can get my own job if you want me too."
Oh Lincoln is the sweetest boy in the whole world.
Thanks Aunt Marti for picking up this huge package in Farmington!
