Two in One Day!

Lincoln is now out of Diapers and Being Potty-Trained!

His very first day! He was very excited. He went through 8 pairs of underwear that day not because of having accidents, but because he was so excited he couldn't decide which pair he wanted to wear for that day.

We waited to train him after we were able to fly to Hawaii for our big move. He just had his third birthday on April 30th so he was more than ready!

Also we had another surprise that day...

To our surprise MaeLee finally decided to take her first steps to Daddy! She just had her first birthday April 23rd, so she was just under 13 months old.

She is so stubborn she wouldn't even try to walk no matter how much we tried. She would stand for 10 minutes at a time but would never take a step. And if we tried to get her to she would sit down and yell at us!

Then when nobody was really paying attention and I don't think even she realized it she was standing on the couch as usual and took two steps to her Dad. We of course all screamed with delight! And she sat down abruptly very upset! She especially did not want to take a photo as you can see. She is our little rascal this girl.

So we decided to make a run to the grocery store and buy any treat the kids wanted...

Yummy.

As for MaeLee our celebration was short-lived as we had to wait for a bit longer before she would take another step!

As for Lincoln...

He has done very well with learning to Potty-train. The first day he was in the bathroom the whole day and had no accidents. As for the second it was more of a nightmare!

He had many accidents and kept forgetting that he was wearing underwear and not diapers. By the end of the day he looked up me with sad eyes and said, "Mom I'm tired...I don't want to go potty anymore."

But we made it through and he even got brand new Spiderman undies which are his favorite next to the Transformer ones. By one week he was on a roll and going all by himself.

Hooray for Lincoln! We are proud of you son!

He loved his undies so much he didn't want to put any pants on cause then u couldn't see Spiderman!
